About the Academy
Founded 15 years ago, Gazal Darbar was built on a simple belief that classical discipline and modern creativity are not opposites, but partners. Based in Chelari, Malappuram, our academy brings together the ragas of Hindustani and Carnatic tradition, the melody of Harmonium with the rhythm of Tabla, and the grace of classical dances like Bharatnatyam, mohiniyattam, alongside the contemporary language of guitar, keyboard, cinematic dance and drawing.
